One Week and Doing Great!

On Thursday, August 6, 2009, I checked into the hospital at 8:00 a.m. Here are the last two belly pictures for this pregnancy!!

At 11:45, the doctor broke my water. Wyatt Allen Boxley joined the world at 2:15 weighing in at 9 pounds 2.5 ounces and measuring 21.5 inches. The doctors say everything looks great and we are both doing well.
This was the first time the girls got to see Wyatt.
They both love to hold him, but Kaity says she is too afraid to give him kisses. lol
I'm not sure where everyone else was for this one, but it was just Wyatt and I, and he looked to cute and peaceful, I had to snap this one.
Here is Wyatt's first bath at home. As you can tell, he didn't like it very much! He looks just like Kaity did at this age!
Wyatt is a wonderful little boy who is eating well and sleeping well. He is waking up every 3-4 hours to eat at night, but goes right back to sleep when he is finished. I am so excited to have a little boy in the house and can't wait till he's up and going and keeping his sisters on their toes!

Almost there!!

Okay, so here I am. This was taken about two weeks ago, but you get the idea. I believe I am bigger now than when we took this picture, but I'm pretty bad about doing this in a timely manner. My due date is now only days away and I am way past being ready for him to make his appearance. Because of Travis' schedule, the doctor has decided to be nice and let us plan to induce on Thursday. He wants Travis to be able to be there and it is easier to have that happen if we go ahead and induce. I, of course, would just love it if he would incude TODAY! But the doctor's not on call until Thursday......so I get to wait.
The weekend after Kaitlyn's birthday, my mom, Robyn, and Travis' dad came up to celebrate. We had cake and presents and cooked hot dogs and hamburgers out on the grill. She is a bit of a picky eater, so we went with hot dogs since 9 times out of 10 she will eat them.
The birthday cake!
Travis put one of the cupcakes up to Kaity's face and told her to look really close, she smashed it in her face.....haha! She couldn't quit laughing for like, ten minutes. It was pretty funny.

And here she is blowing out the candles.......Abby helped, but we didn't get her in the picture. I don't think Kaity needed the help, but what can you do? Hopefully Abby won't mind when Kaity decides to help with the candles on her birthday!
