So, for Halloween this year, Kaity was a witch and Abby was a "Pirate Princess". Well, that's what the name on the costume package was, but really it's just a girl pirate. This first picture, Abby is saying "Aaargh!", lol! The last Halloween picture, I am hiding behind the girls and holding up Wyatt, who is dressed up as Winnie the Pooh. We went into the town where we live and did a little trick or treating. We only went to about a dozen houses, but the girls still managed to get a ton of candy. On top of that, we didn't have a single kid show up at our door, so we are still trying to eat our Halloween candy.
The other day, I gave Kaitlyn some paper and scissors. I left the room for a few minutes to take care of Wyatt and when I came back, I find that Abby has found some scissors of her own and cut Kaity's hair. I really freaked out about it, but it really isn't as bad as I first thought. So, here is a picture for those of you who wanted to see it. In the front are her bangs that we are working on growing out, but the chunk that is missing behind that was there just a few days ago. Oh well, I will just have to do my best to hide it until it's long enough that I feel comfortable cutting it.
On Monday, we woke up to snow on the ground. It was beautiful. I took a few pictures, but they didn't turn out well. So, we loaded up in the car and went to the store to get clothes for the kids to wear out in the snow. By the time we got home, it was time for naps and we told the girls they could play in the snow when they woke up, but it started raining while they were sleeping, so it was kind of slushy. We thought it was suppose to snow again that night, so we put it off again, but when we got up on Tuesday, there wasn't even a hint of snow on the ground. Oops! I guess they'll have to wait!
Today was a beautiful day! We didn't need jackets or anything outside today. So we went out and did a little yard work today. We were probably out there raking leaves for about two hours, filled three huge bags, and we are no where near being finished! I'm learning there are some disadvantages to having a big yard.
And finally, Travis called me yesterday and said that he had seen that there was going to be a ballet in St. Joe on Saturday and he wanted to know if he could take his three girls to go watch it. I'm super excited cause I've never been to a ballet before. So, I have found a babysitter for Wyatt, and the rest of us are going out. The girls are pretty excited too......the ballet is Cinderella. Pictures of the ballet next time.......
